Priority One's Young Professionals Forum is for those in their 20s and 30s, living in the Western Bay of Plenty and passionate about contributing to the region's growth and development. The forum meets formally three times per year to discuss issues affecting economic development and plays an important role in advocating the views of this demographic to city leaders. From time to time forum members are also called upon to participate in focus groups on a particular topic or enjoy an informal lunch together.

Key issues raised by the group include the importance of a strong tertiary presence to attract young people to the region, the need for young people to have a political voice in the progression of the city, and the importance of a strong and vibrant central business district. If this sounds like you we want to hear from you.
